Hanoi (VNA), Dec. 9 -- Chief of General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army Sen. Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Tan Cuong received in Hanoi on December 9 Vice Chief of Staff of Japan's Joint Staff Lieut. Gen. Suzuki Yasuhiko who is in Vietnam to attend the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2022.

Cuong, who is also Deputy Defence Minister, thanked international partners and friends for attending the expo, including those from Japan, saying that it is a great source of encouragement for Vietnam to hold the next event.
