Bangkok, Jan. 15 -- A crane collapsed in Thailand on January 15, crushing two vehicles and claiming two lives.

The latest incident took place in Samut Sakhon province near the capital Bangkok, where a crane involved in the construction of an elevated highway fell onto the road beneath, according to initial reports.

It was the latest in a series of fatal accidents caused by construction projects in Thailand.

A crane at a high-speed rail project collapsed onto a passenger train on January 14 in Nakhon Ratchasima province, northeastern Thailand.

At least 32 people were killed and 66 others were injured. An investigation is underway./.
