An Giang, March 3 -- The Mekong Delta province of An Giang plans to invest over 301.3 billion VND (12 million USD) in housing construction and repairs this year, in response to a nationwide push to wipe out makeshift and rundown housing, heard a conference held by the provincial Party Committee on March 3.

The funding breaks down to 50.1 billion VND from the State budget, 2.6 billion VND from local coffers, and 248.4 billion VND tapped from a national fund and local fundraising efforts.
