Algiers, Feb. 27 -- The Vietnam Trade Office in Algeria conducted a working visit to Ghardaia province from February 22 to 25 to promote trade and investment between the two countries. A seminar, co-organised by the office and the local chamber of commerce and industry, highlighted economic cooperation opportunities. Ghardaia, about 600 km from Algiers, houses two industrial zones and UNESCO-listed heritage sites, offering potential in manufacturing, tourism, and exports. The chamber said Ghardaia encourages foreign enterprises to invest, with various tax and land leasing incentives.
