Hanoi, June 13 -- An Air India flight made an emergency landing at Phuket airport after receiving an onboard bomb threat on June 13 morning, Thai airport authorities said.
By June 13 noon, local authorities had not found any bombs or explosives on the plane, according to a Thai airport official.
Authorities are questioning the passenger who found a bomb threat note on the plane.
According to flight-tracking site Flightradar24, Air India flight AI-379, which departed Phuket airport at 9:30 a.m. local time on June 13, made a wide loop over the Andaman Sea before returning for an emergency landing on Phuket Island. The flight was en route to Delhi with 156 passengers on board.
