Vientiane, Jan. 9 -- The 12th National Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) has marked a new stage in Laos' development, setting a long-term strategic vision to 2055 and reaffirming the Party's leadership in advancing country's renewal and socialist-oriented development. A press conference announcing the outcomes of the congress, taking place from January 6 to 8, was held in Vientiane on January 9.
