Vientiane, March 6 -- A ceremony was held at the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos on March 6 to present 100 scholarships worth totally 5,000 USD from the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund to Vietnamese students in Laos.

Speaking at the event, co-organised by the embassy, the Vu A Dinh Scholarship Fund, the "For the Beloved Hoang Sa and Truong Sa" Club, and donors, former Vice State President and Chairwoman of the fund Truong My Hoa said that the fund, established in 1999, aims to support students from poor families who achieve outstanding academic performance.
