New Delhi, Aug. 12 -- Rainbow Children's Hospital, Adani Defence, and Indian Hotels Company have announced strategic merger and acquisition deals.

Rainbow Children's Medicare-Pratiksha Hospital Rainbow Children's Medicare Ltd (RCML), a pediatric and perinatal care chain, has announced its second acquisition of 2025. The chain said on Tuesday that it will acquire a majority stake in Guwahati-based Pratiksha Hospital.

RCML will acquire a 76% stake in the hospital, valuing it at Rs 171 crore ($19.5 million). The transaction, fully funded through internal accruals, marks RCML's entry into Assam and the broader Northeast region.

Founded by IVF pioneer Pramod Kumar Sharma, Pratiksha Hospital adds 150 beds to RCML's network, expanding its total capacity to 2,185 beds across 21 hospitals in eight cities.

Following the acquisition, the hospital will be rebranded as Pratiksha Rainbow Children's Hospital and integrated into RCML's national network. The facility will also be connected to RCML's regional hubs in Hyderabad, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai.

In June, the paediatric hospital chain acquired a controlling stake in Prashanthi Medicare, which operates a 100-bed hospital in Warangal, Telangana, VCCircle reported.

Adani Defence-Indamer Technics

Adani Defence Systems and Technologies, via its 50:50 joint venture Horizon Aero Solutions with Prime Aero Services, has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Indamer Technics, an aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) provider.

Prime Aero is owned by Prajay Patel, the director of Indamer. Indamer operates a 30-acre greenfield MRO facility in Nagpur's MIHAN SEZ with 15 aircraft bays across 10 hangars. The company offers full-spectrum services, including C-checks, structural repairs, and aircraft painting.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Adani's pan-India MRO footprint. Indian Hotels-ANK Hotels, Pride Hospitality Tata-owned Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) has signed definitive agreements to acquire 51% stakes in ANK Hotels and Pride Hospitality for up to Rs 110 crore and Rs 94 crore, respectively.

ANK Hotels, based in Lucknow, runs 111 midscale hotels under The Clarks Hotels & Resorts brand, with 67 operational, and posted Rs 14.32 crore revenue in FY25.

Jaipur-based Pride Hospitality, also under the Clarks banner, operates 24 hotels, with 13 active, and reported Rs 18.94 crore revenue in FY25.

Both acquisitions are cash-funded and align with the company's asset-light strategy to expand its midscale footprint across India. Completion is expected by November 15, 2025. Post-deal, the company's network will deepen across key regional markets.

IHCL has also signed a distribution and marketing pact with Brij Hospitality, which operates 19 Brij-branded hotels across India.
