New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- Battery-tech startup Offgrid, personal care brand for children Tuco Kids, electric bus fleet operator LeafyBus, consumer electronics startup Cuzor, maternal health firm SaveMom, and wellness brand Zanskar have raised early-stage funding, according to company statements.

Nazara Technologies has terminated a deal to acquire further stake in gaming-platform operator Moonshine, while Homelane has bagged venture debt funding.

Offgrid Energy Labs

Offgrid Energy Labs has raised $15 million (Rs 132 crore) in Series A funding led by chemical maker Archean Chemicals Industries Ltd with participation from existing investor Ankur Capital. The deep-science battery startup previously raised seed funding in a round led by Shell Ventures. The company said it plans to use the funds to set up a 10 MWh demo manufacturing facility in the UK, advance its R&D pipeline for stationary energy storage solutions, and commercialise its patented ZincGel batteries through certification, testing, and finalising the blueprint for a giga-factory. Founded by Tejas Kusurkar, Rishi Srivastava, Brindan Tulachan, and Ankur Agarwal in 2018 at SIIC-IIT Kanpur, Offgrid Energy Labs focuses on sustainable stationary energy storage solutions for three key applications: peak shifting, net-zero industrial electricity, and decentralised off-the-grid energy solutions. Offgrid claims to use common, non-toxic materials, zinc chemistry, and a flexible ZincGel platform for batteries.

Tuco Kids

Tuco Kids has raised $4 million (around Rs 35 crore) in a Series A funding round led by RTP Global, with participation from existing investor Fireside Ventures, Whiteboard Capital and MG investments. The startup said the funding will be used to deepen its brand presence, product innovation, and expand its presence across both online and offline channels. Tuco offers personal care products for children such as soaps, lotions, creams, skincare, and deodorants. The company was founded in 2023 by Aishvarya Murali and Chanakya Gupta, who joined as a co-founder in January this year. The company caters products for school going kids aged 3-13.

LeafyBus

LeafyBus has secured $4.1 million (around Rs 36 crore) in funding from Enetra India Pvt Ltd, supported by Singapore-based sustainable infrastructure fund Impact Capital Asia Management (ICAM). The New Delhi-based intercity electric bus operator said it will use the funds to scale up to more than 100 buses over the next 18 to 24 months, expanding its footprint across major intercity corridors in North, East, and South India. It currently operates 10 premium electric buses on the Delhi-Dehradun route. LeafyBus, founded by Rohan Dewan and Animesh Sharma, operates a fleet of premium electric buses that also provides safety features such as dedicated helplines, panic buttons, reserved seating, and on-board monitoring systems such as ADAS, DMS, and alcohol detection. The company has partnered with JBM Electric Vehicles for the supply of 200 buses and has secured financing for its first fleet through Accelerated Money For U (AMU).

Cuzor

Bengaluru-based consumer electronics startup Cuzor has raised Rs 5 crore (around $570,000) in a seed round from Kaynes Technology founder Ramesh Kannan and unveiled a 70 Watt charger on Monday. Cuzor, which manufactures and sells mini UPS, has now entered the fast-charging segment of Gallium Nitride (GaN) chargers with the launch of Cuzor Pulse 70W, which is designed, engineered, and manufactured domestically.

Nazara-Moonshine

Mumbai-listed gaming media firm Nazara Technologies has terminated the deal to acquire the remaining stake in PokerBaazi-owner Moonshine Technology Pvt Ltd, after the Indian government banned online real money gaming. "Pursuant to the enactment of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025, which came into effect on August 22, 2025, a material adverse effect (as defined in the SPA) has occurred due to the prohibition on online real money gaming, including but not limited to real money poker gaming in India," Nazara said in an exchange filing. Last year, Nazara acquired a 47.7% stake in Moonshine Technology Pvt. Ltd for Rs 832 crore(around $94 million) through a secondary transaction.

SaveMom

Navyug Global Ventures has made a strategic investment in JioVio Healthcare's maternal health venture SaveMom to accelerate its growth in maternal healthcare innovation. With an initial investment of Rs 20 lakh (around $23,000) from Navyug Global, the capital raised will allow SaveMom to expand technology beyond government hospital programs in rural India into private hospital networks across India. Founded in 2016 by Senthil Kumar, SaveMom partners with government hospitals and community health workers to deliver modern maternal care in underserved rural regions, using smart wearables and its AI-enabled mobile health platform. The company has monitored more than 25,000 pregnancies across over 120 rural communities to detect high-risk cases early and ensure timely intervention.

Zanskar

Zanskar has raised Rs 2.8 crore (around $320,000) in a seed round of funding led by Zeropearl VC, with participation from angel investors Fashinza founder Pawan Gupta, 10X Growth Ventures managing partner Amit Baid, and Oaktree Capital executive Nidhish Mundra. The startup said the funds will be deployed to expand Zanskar's product portfolio, scale up marketing across digital platforms, and enhance distribution through both direct-to-consumer (D2C) and offline retail channels. Zanskar, a pain-care focused wellness brand, was founded by Anshul Mittal and Manu Mittal. It offers products for pain relief and operates a physiotherapy app.

HomeLane

VentureSoul Partners has invested an undisclosed amount in home interiors platform HomeLane through its maiden venture debt fund, the strategic debt investor said in a social media post. HomeLane operates a tech stack that enables design-to-installation experience for customers across multiple cities.
