, Jan. 22 -- KANGAN: After repeated reports and sustained coverage by Valley Online (VON) highlighting the misuse of snowmobile bikes and the large-scale destruction of Sonamarg's fragile ecosystem, the Sonamarg Development Authority (SDA) has finally enforced stringent regulations to curb unregulated operations.

To prevent chaos, overcommercialisation, and ecological damage, the SDA has fixed a maximum cap of 20 snowmobile bikes per designated area.
