Kangan: A pedestrian was critically injured in a road accident at Cherwan area of Kangan on Sunday when a Swift car collided with a Sumo vehicle, officials said.

According to details, the Swift car bearing registration number PB11 BQ 4689 collided with a Sumo bearing registration number JK03 B 3384, during which a pedestrian identified as Waseem Ahmad (25), son of Mohammad Iqbal Kassana, resident of Hayan Palpora, sustained critical injuries.

The injured was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan, from where doctors referred him to SKIMS Soura for advanced treatment due to the seriousness of his condition.
