KANGAN, Feb. 14 -- MLA Kangan, Mian Mehar Ali, met with the Director of Fire and Emergency Services J&K, Shri Alok Kumar (IPS), to express his heartfelt gratitude for the sanctioning of a Fire and Emergency Station at Sonamarg.

It is important to note that the government has already identified one kanal of land at Sonamarg, for which the Hon'ble MLA has recommended the release of funds from his share of the UT capex for the construction of a building and garage to accommodate manpower and a fire tender on the said land.

Additionally, it is pertinent to mention that the fire tender and manpower will be stationed at Gagangeer in the APCO camp, as discussions have already taken place with them until the main building at Sonamarg is complet...
