, April 12 -- KISHTWAR: Death toll in the ongoing Chhatru encounter in Kishtwar District rose to three with the killing of two more terrorists last night, officials said on Saturday.
Officials told KNO that the operation was launched in Chhatru forest area of Kishtwar District on April 9, after suspicious movement of terrorists was noticed by alert forces.
Army in a statement said: "Despite challenging terrain and inclement weather conditions, security forces have neutralized two additional terrorists, bringing the operation closer to ensuring the region's safety."
