, March 25 -- Ganderbal Police carried out multiple searches at various locations across the district today as part of an ongoing investigation into a case related to the proscribed organization Tehreek-e-Hurriyat (TeH). The Government of India had declared TeH, an unlawful organization under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in December 2023.

The searches were conducted in connection with Case FIR No. 02/2024 registered at Police Station Ganderbal under Sections 10 and 13 of the UAPA Act.
