GANDERBAL, Jan. 30 -- The Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road has been temporarily closed following fresh snowfall in the region. Light snowfall overnight resulted in a snow accumulation of 2 to 3 inches.

According to a traffic police officer, vehicular movement will only be permitted after the road is cleared and a green signal is given by Beacon authorities. Travelers are urged to stay updated with official traffic advisories before planning their journeys. (VON)
