Uzbekistan, March 17 -- Over the next five years, household gas demand will decrease by at least 20%. To achieve this, local boiler houses will be installed in the heating systems of four-story and higher buildings that are not connected to centralized heating. This is stated in the Presidential Decree "On the Radical Reform of Heat Supply for Housing and Buildings and Measures to Improve Energy Efficiency."

A total of 103 outdated boiler houses and 1,600 kilometers of heating networks in centralized heating systems will be renovated.
