Tashkent, Sept. 18 -- Starting October 1, Uzbekistan intends to lift all restrictions on entry and exit by air, rail and road transport in compliance with quarantine standards and hygienic rules. All previously applied restrictions are abolished.

Persons arriving in Uzbekistan via borders from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Afghanistan will be sent to a 14-day quarantine in hotels or at home after passing a PCR test for coronavirus, a rapid test or an antibody test.

The following rules are established for those entering Uzbekistan by air:
