Tashkent, May 7 -- The Republican Anti Coronavirus Commission of Uzbekistan has updated Quarantine zones effective May 8 depending on the level of threat to Green, Yellow and Red Zones. Tashkent City is in the Yellow zone. All existing quarantine restrictions remain in red Zone, but they may be revised depending on the situation. Important businesses and offices will also be permitted to operate to assist in the smooth transition with subject to requirements.

Red level of quarantine will be in effect in the regions where COVID-19 cases were confirmed during the past 14 days. They will include Karakalpakstan, Andizhan region, Namangan region, Ferghana region, Samarkand region, Tashkent region, Bukhara region, Syrdarya region.
