Tashkent, Feb. 21 -- In January 2024, Uzbekistan initiated trade with 137 countries worldwide. The total foreign trade turnover amounted to $4.2 billion, marking a decrease of $870.1 million, or 17.2%, compared to January 2023.

China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and the Republic of Korea collectively accounted for a significant portion of Uzbekistan's trade, with China leading at 27.2%, followed by Russia at 18.3%, Kazakhstan at 6.5%, Turkey at 5.1%, and the Republic of Korea at 4.3%.

Uzbekistan's exports totaled $1.1 billion, while imports amounted to $3.1 billion.
