Tashkent, Jan. 16 -- The President of Uzbekistan signed a Law on radical reforms in the notary system, the press service of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis said. The document was adopted by the Legislative Chamber on December 9 and approved by the Upper House of Parliament on December 14 and entered into force after being signed by the Head of State on January 15.

The law introduced amendments and additions to the laws "On pledge", "On notary", "On leasing", "On mortgage", "On real estate activity", "On exchange of credit information", "On guardianship", "On mediation", Civil and Civil procedure codes, as well as the list of activities that require licenses.
