Tashkent, Aug. 21 -- In January-July, the foreign trade turnover of Uzbekistan amounted to $24.5 billion, having increased by $6.8 billion or 38.6% more than in the corresponding period last year. Exports reached $10.8 billion (growth rate - 44.5%), and imports - $13.6 billion (growth rate - 34.3%).

The negative balance of foreign trade turnover amounted to $2.7 billion.

Uzbekistan had trade relations with more than 167 countries. The largest volume of its foreign trade turnover among the countries of the world was recorded with China (18.5%), the Russian Federation (14.6%), Kazakhstan (8.1%), the Republic of Korea (6.5%), Turkey (5.7%), Germany (2.2%) and Kyrgyzstan (2.1%).
