Uzbekistan's Family code introduces new concept - large family
Tashkent, Oct. 6 -- President Mirziyoyev signed the Law "On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
The law amended and supplemented 8 codes and 10 laws.
According to the amendment to the Family code, a family with 4 or more children under the age of 18 is now considered as a large family.
At the same time, if out of 4 or more children, 1 or more are studying full-time in educational organizations (secondary special and professional, higher education) and have not reached the age of 22, this family is also considered a large family.
