Tashkent, Feb. 6 -- During the faction meeting of the "Milliy Tiklanish" Democratic Party in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, they discussed a draft law regarding the protection of rare and endangered plant and animal species listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan. The law proposes amendments to allow scientific research on these species, with provisions for their preservation and reproduction. It suggests allowing the collection or preparation of 30% of plant species for research purposes after three years.
