Tashkent, Feb. 15 -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in South Korea met with the South Korean Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and the company SI Imaging Services to discuss cooperation in the field of research and use of space for peaceful purposes, Uzbek news agency Dunyo reported.

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the parties noted the positive dynamics of the consistent development of cooperation in this direction. Several rounds of talks have been held between the specialists of the ministry of science and ICT of Korea, KARI and the ministry for development of information technologies and communications of Uzbekistan. A joint Uzbek-South Korean taskforce was created to implement joint projects in this sphere.
