Tashkent, March 26 -- The Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis and the Chairman of the National Commission for Combating Human Trafficking and Decent Labor Issues, Tanzila Narbayeva, held discussions with Beate Andrees, Regional Director of the ILO Bureau for Europe and Central Asia in Geneva. The talks focused on expanding relations between Uzbekistan and the ILO, aiming to elevate cooperation to enhance decent working conditions systematically. The conversation highlighted various areas of cooperation, such as implementing principles of decent work and social protection, combating informal employment, providing basic income to socially vulnerable populations, and setting standards for self-employment.
