Uzbekistan, April 9 -- Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have agreed to take joint measures to develop a shared tourism route. The two countries will collaborate to promote travel across key destinations along the historic Silk Road.

Chairperson of Uzbekistan's Tourism Committee, Umid Shadiev held talks in Samarkand with Deputy Head of Azerbaijan's State Tourism Agency, Azada Guseynova. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and advancing joint tourism initiatives. Following the meeting, Uzbekistan's National PR Center and Azerbaijan's Tourism Bureau signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at boosting a unified tourist route along the Silk Road.
