Tashkent, May 16 -- In a first for the country, the Central Bank of Uzbekistan has analysed how the pandemic has affected people with various levels of income. The regulator reported that around 38.7% of households say their monthly income stays within the $200 to $400 brackets.

When complying the results, the Central Bank has used data from a survey of household spending and income and regional consumer price indices. The results have allowed analyzing the differences between the CPI and the cost of living.
