Tashkent, Oct. 14 -- President Shavkat Mirziyoyev left for Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, to participate in the events of the seventh Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States.

The summit will adopt a Joint statement of the heads of state of the Turkic Council on the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Organization as a full member.

Following the meeting, the Declaration of the seventh summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States is expected to be adopted.

During his stay in Baku, the President of Uzbekistan will hold bilateral meetings with the heads of delegations participating in the meeting.
