Tashkent, Nov. 1 -- The heads of government of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will gather in Tashkent today to participate in the next session of the Council.

The Prime Ministers of Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, the Vice-President of Iran and the Chief Executive of Afghanistan have already arrived in Tashkent. Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abdukhakimov and other officials met the guests at Tashkent International airport.

The session will see high-ranking delegations from 8 member states, 4 observers (Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia), as well as about 10 international organizations.
