Uzbekistan, Feb. 20 -- Uzbekistan is steadily increasing its energy capacity to meet the growing needs of the population and the economy. Forecasts indicate that by 2035, electricity consumption will rise 1.7 times compared to the current level. To meet this demand, the country must not only expand production but also improve energy conservation. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on ways to enhance energy efficiency.
