Uzbekistan, April 8 -- On the sidelines of the 150th anniversary session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union Assembly, the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received the heads of parliaments from several Arab states.

The meeting was attended by the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Muhammad bin Ahmad Al-Yamahi; the Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Bahrain, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam; the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Egypt, Hanafy Ali El-Gebaly; the Chairman of the Shura Council of Oman, Khalid bin Hilal Al-Maawali; the Speaker of the Shura Council of Qatar, Hassan bin Abdullah Al-Ghanim; and the Chairman of the Committee of the Federal National Council of the United Arab Emirates, Ali Rashid Al-Nuaimi.
