Tashkent, Feb. 26 -- At the end of last year, residents of Uzbekistan concluded 386,800 lease agreements. Over the year the growth amounted to 60.5%. Among legal entities, this indicator grew by 30.2%, up to 144.9 thousand contracts.
According to the Tax Committee, in 2023, landlords concluded 94.2 thousand rental agreements with university students.
For reference, last year the number of transactions in the real estate market of Uzbekistan exceeded 272.4 thousand.
The highest growth was recorded in Kashkadarya region and Karakalpakstan - 17.1 and 16.8% respectively.
