Tashkent, March 1 -- An architectural complex named after Zulfiya Zokirova will be constructed in Nurafshon city. The governor of Tashkent region, Zoyir Mirzayev, has signed a decree for this purpose. 1 billion soums from the local budget's free balance have been allocated for this project at the beginning of 2024.

Zulfiya Zokirova, honored in this manner, is a mother who lost five sons during the Second World War. A film titled "Ilhak" depicting her story has been produced, and the first statue of her was erected in "Victory Park" in Tashkent.
