Tashkent, May 7 -- More than 1,000 homes will be built in Turkestan as people have lost their houses after flooding. This was announced by the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"The government will start building more than a thousand homes in the Turkestan region for citizens who lost their homes as a result of flooding after the accident at a reservoir in Uzbekistan," the head of state wrote on Twitter.
