Uzbekistan, April 11 -- The monthly housing compensation paid to military personnel has been increased by 20 percent. The decision aims to strengthen the social protection and welfare of service members across the country.
Under the new regulation, the amount of monetary compensation will reach up to 4.8 times the BCA in Tashkent city, up to 3.6 times the BCA in Nukus and regional centers, and up to 2 times the BCA in other cities, district centers, and settlements.
Additionally, from June 1, military personnel who have served for more than 10 calendar years and are eligible for housing will receive a mortgage down payment equivalent to 35% of the property's value. Previously, this rate was fixed at 25% for all.
