Tashkent, Oct. 3 -- Inflation in September comprised 1.3%. In general, in January-September goods and services in the consumer market became more expensive by 9.7%. This was stated in the report of the State Statistics Committee.

Over the past month, food products have risen by an average of 1.4%, non-food products by 0.9%, and services by 2%.

The price for fruits, vegetables and potatoes fell by 1.1%.

The increase in the cost of contracts in the country's universities since September has led to the fact that education services have become leaders in the growth of tariffs not only for the month, but also for the nine months of this year.
