Tashkent, May 5 -- The Andijan region has started gradually easing the quarantine restrictions. Taxis, hairdressers, and hotels are now allowed to operate. This was announced at a meeting chaired by the regional mayor Shukhrat Abdurakhmanov on May 4.

In particular, the head of the region said that it is necessary to restore the activities of a total of 3750 business entities. Before the height of the pandemic, there were 29,811 businesses operating in the region, of which 11,184 were forced to suspend their activities during the quarantine.
