Tashkent, March 2 -- New amendments were made to the Code of Administrative Responsibility that can contribute to save the environment. Financial sanctions will now be imposed on legal entities that illegally cut down trees. Additionally, administrative sanctions for illegal cutting, burning, or damage of trees have been strengthened.

The Code of Administrative Responsibility was amended to establish administrative responsibility for developing project documents leading to the cutting, felling, damage, or destruction of valuable species of trees and shrubs.
