Tashkent, March 21 -- Fees for crypto stores in Uzbekistan have increased almost tenfold following amendments to regulations issued by the National Agency for Prospective Projects. The fee range for a crypto exchange now stands between 400 and 740 BCA.

For a crypto store, the range is from 20 to 185 BCA, or 6.8 million to 62.9 million soums. Service providers in the crypto-asset sector have demonstrated significant profitability, prompting the adjustment of fees to generate additional revenue for the state budget. These changes are expected to double state budget revenues without significantly impacting the financial stability of service providers. The adjustments will take effect three months following their official announcement.
