Tashkent, Jan. 29 -- The Egyptian government delivered the next batch of "Sofosbuvir-400mg" medicine to Uzbekistan for treating hepatitis C. A total of 6,720 pieces of the medication were distributed to patients after treatment by the Virology Research Institute under the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan.

As part of an agreement, the Egyptian government plans to provide a total of 800,000 units of "Daclatasvir" and "Sofosbuvir" for hepatitis C, as well as "Entecavir" for hepatitis B by 2025. The entire cost of these medications is 4.2 million dollars. So far, medicines worth 696 thousand US dollars have been sent to Uzbekistan in stages.
