Educational institutions of Uzbekistan can switch to five-day school week
Tashkent, Dec. 12 -- The State Committee for Tourism Development proposed to introduce a five-day school week for all secondary schools and institutions of higher and secondary education in Uzbekistan. The proposal is contained in the draft government resolution on the development of youth tourism in the country.
In order to lengthen the tourist season, it is proposed to extend the winter holidays by reducing the duration of summer holidays. It is expected that this will allow students and their parents to travel more in Uzbekistan.
