Tashkent, Oct. 31 -- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is opening its second office in Uzbekistan, according to the organization's website. The office will be located in Andijan.

The EBRD explains its choice by the fact that the Fergana valley is the most populous part of Central Asia with almost 14 million inhabitants.

The office will support local small and medium-sized enterprises through expert advice, training and the provision of financial instruments.
