Tashkent, March 22 -- The Central Bank of Uzbekistan suspended several banks from participating in the trading of the currency exchange. The Bank said that several financial institutions have had " systematic violations associated with the implementation of transactions on the currency exchange."

"This is not the first time when these banks face sanctions for violations of currency legislation - during 2018 and over the past period of 2019 31 penalties totaling 2.5 billion soums had been applied", - the press service of the Central Bank said.
