Tashkent, March 3 -- The British Foundation is interested in participating in the Asiatic cheetah breeding and maintenance project in Uzbekistan. Ambassador Ravshan Usmanov of Uzbekistan met with Amos Kuraj, the director of international affairs at the British organization "The Aspinall Foundation," along with experts Tony King and Stuart Robertson.

Amos Kuraj spoke at the CMS COP14 international conference in Samarkand on February 12-17, expressing the British organization's keen interest in the initiative to re-breed Asiatic cheetahs in Uzbekistan. He also acknowledged Uzbekistan's goal of tripling the number of protected natural areas and accelerating new wildlife breeding projects from 2024 to 2027.
