Tashkent, May 18 -- Uzbekistan welcomes the agreement reached by the political leaders of Afghanistan on the establishment of an inclusive government and the Supreme Council of national reconciliation, the Foreign Ministry said.

"We also hope that these important decisions will pave the way for political negotiations and the establishment of lasting peace in neighbouring Afghanistan," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
