Tashkent, June 26 -- The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a new country partnership strategy (CPS) for Uzbekistan. The five-year partnership strategy for 2019-2023 supports government reforms to facilitate the transition of the economy to a more inclusive and market-based growth path.

As part of the new strategy, ADB will support the government's long-term goals to improve people's quality of life and create quality jobs. The Bank's country operations will support private sector development, reduce economic and social inequalities, and promote regional cooperation and integration.
