Tashkent, Jan. 10 -- Coronavirus pandemic has had a devastating impact on global tourism. It affected almost all countries across the globe. Uzbekistan is no exception. Aziz Abduhakimov, Chair of Uzbekistan's tourism committee, during a press briefing last week announced plans aiming to revive the sector.

"In 2020, Uzbekistan's tourism sector had faced a huge crisis because of quarantine. The country saw only 1.5mn tourists. We have made some calculations for the current year.
