U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) reintroduced legislation to roll back Food and Drug Administration (FDA) policies that expanded access to chemical abortion drugs.

The Support and Value Expectant (SAVE) Moms and Babies Act would restore longstanding safety standards governing abortion drugs, including reinstating

in-person dispensing requirements, banning distribution through the mail or via telemedicine, and strengthening reporting requirements for abortion-related complications.
