U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse today announced that $27,790,000 is heading to Rhode Island to support a total of 23 projects that will help strengthen public safety and upgrade infrastructure across the Ocean State. The earmarks were included in a package of three fiscal year 2026 appropriations bills that were approved by the Senate this afternoon and head to the President's desk to be signed into law.
