Today, U.S. Senator Peter Welch (D-Vt.), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, joined U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and U.S. Representative Juan Vargas (D-CA-52) in introducing the Temporary Immigration Judge Integrity Act, bicameral legislation to prevent inexperienced temporary immigration judge appointments in light of the Trump Administration's abuse of loopholes in current regulations.
